To qualify for Dream For All, the home you buy must be a single-family, one-unit residence. That includes:
Condos can qualify for Dream For All if they meet the same rules as your first mortgage program.
Your lender will verify that the condo project is approved and meets all requirements.
Sometimes CalHFA’s guidelines and your first mortgage’s rules might not line up perfectly. In those cases, the more restrictive rule always applies. That just means we’ll follow whichever guideline is stricter to make sure the loan stays fully compliant.
